ONE ON ONE SESSIONs
I have multiple modalities I can use when working one on one with clients. I start with a phone consultation with potential clients to see if what I offer is of benefit to you, and if we are a good fit. Some clients stick with a regimen of strictly Yoga or Somatic Sessions, while others want to experience multiple modalities depending on their shifting needs.
Sessions start at $150, and depending on the modality, last between 1-2 hours.
Somatic One on One Sessions (90 min-2 hrs)
Somatic Sessions are a nurturing way to support the body and Nervous System, especially when you’ve been enduring chronic stress, experienced a traumatic event, or feel disconnected or even frozen. If certain experiences were too fast, too intense or too overwhelming for us to process in the moment, we may find ourselves stuck, unable to find our way back to a sense of safety (feeling at ease and connected). If we do get stuck, this can look and feel like chronic stress, on edge/hypervigilant, an inability to let go and relax, or feeling stuck, exhausted, numb, or unable to take action.
What we are doing within a session is giving our bodies a chance to remember what safety feels like and to access our internal and external resources that allow us to feel resilient, supported, and strong so we can resolve the stress response and get “unstuck.” We encourage our bodies to move through the stress response with some movement, and then we coax our bodies towards a more relaxed state by inviting a more relaxed breath, and a sense of ease and comfort.
Sessions can also involve breathwork, easy movement, acupressure, self massage, and nervous system regulation exercises. I work out of my home office in North Hills (San Fernando Valley) or can travel to your home.
YOGA (1-1.5 HRs)
Work with me in your home or virtually. Whether you’re wanting to progress in your practice or you’re not sure where to begin, I love working with all students and offering a comprehensive plan to ensure your goals and needs are met. From wanting to feel stronger, connecting your physical practice to Yoga philosophy, working your way back from injury, or creating a consistent meditation, breathwork and asana practice, I am ready to get started with you.
